Sue is an experienced and innovative trainer with a BSc.
Honors in Applied Psychology. Her unique approach highlights her ability
to design and deliver fresh, and stimulating training solutions
that make a positive difference in a competitive world. On returning to the UK, before setting up Jigsaw Training, Sue worked as a Business Development Executive/Training Consultant for a Yorkshire based Management Development Consultancy. |
James is a dynamic leader with enthusiasm and drive. Prior to Joining Tesco PLC as a Training Manager, James delivered training in team building, motivation and leadership skills within the Royal Air Force. His main strengths lie in 'people management', but the time spent with Tesco has given him an additional wealth of knowledge in the Personnel related areas such as the development of competency frameworks, effective interviewing skills, the development and implementation of appraisal techniques and disciplinary / grievance procedures. |
Mark Forster-Hamill After spending 13 years in HMF Mark took up employment within the Security Industry as a Contract Manager – consulting customers on their security requirements. Mark was accountable for the day-to-day demands of each customer’s needs and the management of numerous Security Officers responsible for their welfare and career advancement. From here Mark took on a role within Jigsaw Training where his strong management skills effectively assist the company with its existing and potential customers.

Luke Wells Luke started off his career as the proprietor of a retail computer business, where he dealt with computer sales, repairs and software/network installation. From here Luke went on to work within a number of technical companies, all of which advanced his skill base within that area. In 2002 Luke first joined Jigsaw Training as the Technical Director. After being with the company since the beginning Luke fulfills an integral role and completes a number of vital processes. Luke provides the in-house technical support and maintenance for Jigsaw Training. With 9 years commercial programming experience, he uses this to develop advanced management systems to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the training and NVQ processes. Luke is currently working torwards a degree in Computing |
Chris Gregory Chris started his career in the Lancashire Police, before working as a contract security guard at Heysham Power station. In 1986 Chris joined British Energy as a security guard, until 1990 when he was promoted to Team Leader in charge of a shift of 10. Chris then progressed to the training department, where he was responsible for a number of areas including Facilitating an Open Learning Centre. In 2000 Chris moved back in to the security sector,and began to write a new security training package, now used in over 8 UK sites throughout the company. From here Chris joined Jigsaw Training as a Lead IV in 2004. |
Chris Jemson The majority of Chris' working life was spent within Lancashire Constabulary, leaving in the rank of Chief Inspector and finishing in Chorley, Lancashire where he was in charge of the Southern Division Prosecutions Department. During Chris' employment he has always dealt with the public and at times for a variety of reasons with a variety of anti-social and criminal members of the public. Alongside his career Chris has also been a substantial training provider for a variety of employers, including Kedder Training, Preston College and Allied Bakeries. In these positions Chris has gained a wealth of knowledge and information, which in 2004 he brought to Jigsaw Training. |
Melanie Phillipson For a number of years Melanie ran a local newsagents with her husband, and dealt with all areas of running a successful business. In 1995 Melanie began work as part of a team contracted by UK Skills to administer the National Training Awards. For nearly ten years Melanie worked alongside a team of verifiers, consultants and educators to ensure the successful and smooth running of this process. Main duties included handling and processing entries, dealing with clients on a regular basis and completing all relevant business administration necessary for the business to run smoothly. Melanie joined Jigsaw Training in 2004 as office manager. Melanie achieved her A1 award in 2006 |

Mark Scaife Mark started his career in the Farming industry as a Dairy Head Manager with a Diploma in Agriculture. He then went into the Building Industry as a Sales Director and here he set up CCTV and many total security solutions. During 1996 - 2000 Mark was a Managing Director and set up his own driving school and ran the business. Mark then went in to the Manufacturing Industry as a Senior Operator, Health and Safety Rep. It was from here that Mark joined Jigsaw Training in February 2005 as an NVQ Assessor. With Mark's strong people skills he has the ability to bring out the best within his candidates to get the result that he was employed to do. |
Tony Logue Tony spent 16 years in the army with the Royal engineers. He then went on to travel the world. On his return Tony worked in the security industry with the local authority as a supervisor, which included working in a busy CCTV/Security/Community Warden environment. This is where he became involved in the training and certification of Community Wardens and security In May 2004 Tony moved to Jigsaw Training, where he has completed his A1 assessors award and C&G Teaching certificate 7302. Within Jigsaw Tony demonstrates his community warden knowledge by working with both community wardens on their 1878 award and Security officers 1875 award for City and Guilds equalisations.

Emma Rae After leaving high school Emma went onto to complete a variety of qualifications including First Aid, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and an NVQ in Business Administration. In 2002 Emma began working as an administrative assistant for the ‘Preston Council for Voluntary Services’ and ‘Preston Guild Voluntary Bureau’. It was from here that she went onto work as an administrative assistant for a recruitment agency, Esprit, where she carried out various duties to ensure the consistent running of the business. In 2003 Emma became a canvasser for Safestyle UK, dealing with existing and potential clients. It was then that Emma joined Jigsaw Training in 2004. While being with the company she has successfully completed a Level 2 VQ and NVQ in Business Administration |
Jeff Baines Jeff started his career within the electronic equipment sector and was the Branch Manager of Intertan UK Ltd for over 3 years. He then branched out into telecommunications and became a Regional Sales Manager for a well known phone company. In 1999 Jeff was Managing Director of Nationwide Communications (UK) Ltd, where he planned new communication companies, cost routing, cellular and data solutions. Jeff then went on to work for Reliance within the security industry and it was from here that Jeff joined Jigsaw Training as a trainer. |

Andy Southern Andy joined Jigsaw Training in 2007 after completing 23 years in the Army. Serving in a variety of roles worldwide Andy primarily focused on security issues advisory and implementation. Andy has lead a varied career gaining experiences in subjects including facilities management, recruitment and intelligence operations. Andy is an experienced trainer across various disciplines During his career Andy gained experiences in a variety of activities which has driven him to actively encourage others to qualify all of their working skills. Andy is a professional, friendly and approachable member of the Jigsaw team.

Robin Houghton Before moving into the private sector, Robin completed over 12yrs with the Police service covering various roles from uniformed officer and eventually CID; he was heavily involved in the training & management of the forces National computer After gaining management experience in logistics, payroll and customer accounts Robin took up a position with a leading National Security Provider, where he was able to employ his management skills in managing & developing blue chip contracts. Robin gained nationally recognised teaching qualifications and progressed to Training Manger, he succeeded in ensuring the company became fully SIA compliant within his region well ahead of target, due to this achievement Robin was seconded as Project Manager to carry out the Licensing project for the whole of Scotland . Robin led his company in becoming one of the first to be fully SIA accredited within UK . Robin brings to Jigsaw a wealth of security and management experience |
Paul Grime Paul started his working career as a Mechanical Engineer in the Aerospace industry. After successfully completing his apprenticeship, he moved on to pastures new and joined Greater Manchester Police as a uniform constable. He served for over 23 years and performed a variety of roles during his career, he latterly became involved in training. Paul specialized in covert policing techniques and was a nationally accredited surveillance trainer, he also became a specialist advisor in relation to activity carried out under the Regulation Of Investigatory Powers Act 2000. In September 2005 Paul left the police and worked on a consultancy basis in the private security sector, in the fields of conflict management training, personal safety training and event management. During this time he obtained teaching qualifications and security sector based competency qualifications in both Security Operations and Door Supervision. In November 2006 he became Regional Operations Manager for a North West based security provider. Paul joined Jigsaw in November 2007 as a Trainer/Assessor. |
Christine Williamson After 15 years of working in the family owned floristry business Christine decided to make a career change. Christine started working within the security industry gaining several qualifications including the Assessor Award, Internal Verifier Award & NVQ level 3 in Learning & Development. This led to Christine moving into training, working for a training provider in Wigan, here she completed the Instructor’s Certificate level 3 in Conflict Management. Christine joined Jigsaw in November 2007 bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to the business. Christine is a valued member of the Jigsaw team. |
Kelly Henderson Kelly started her career within the customer service and administration sector where she gained a wealth of experience and essential skills, which resulted in her becoming a Branch Manager for Birthdays Ltd. At Birthdays Ltd Kelly was accountable for the day-to-day demands of customer’s needs and the management of several members of staff. Kelly carried out various duties which included accounts, assisting with staff recruitment & training and disciplinary procedures, all of which ensured the smooth and efficient running of the business. Kelly joined Jigsaw Training in 2002 where her strong administration skills effectively assist in the day to day running of the business.
