Elmfield Training in partnership with Jigsaw
Jigsaw Training and Elmfield Training have agreed to partner on large facilities contracts.
With Elmfield having a very strong national team in the catering and management field and Jigsaw being very strong national team in both the Security and Cleaning fields it makes for a robust, quality driven, total solution for facilities providers across the country.
”The partnership is based on the philosophy of both organisations, that of quality and the learner comes first” says James Blackhurst MD of Jigsaw Training.
With both companys delivering pre apprentice training and full apprenticeships as well as placing students with their client base it really supports the industry and the current government objectives for employment.
Jigsaw Training works with Essex County Council
MITIE has created 12 Facilities Services apprentice positions on its Esex County Council programme.
And Jigsaw Training has gained accreditation to deliver the entire framework through Assett Skills and City & Guilds.
”This is a brand new apprenticeship framework that is aimed at attracting talent into the industry, the programme will be run over an 18 month period and will be a combination day release into the classroom for technical knowledge training and practical on the job training and assessment” says James Bklackhurst MD at Jigsaw Training.
Sam Greenwood, MITIE apprentice manager for the contract, said ”After a robust recruitment process including a full days assessment centre each apprentice has been allocated a mentor and will be placed in 6 different areas of the MITIE contract to gain as much experience as possible.
“Working with Jigsaw training on the project has brought real structure and quality to the delivery and we hope to be able to run the programme again on completion of this one”.
