A new apprenticeship programme has resulted in all 10 young people being placed in permanent jobs within a county council.
The scheme – run by Jigsaw Training working with MITIE – was delivered over the course of the last year as part of the government’s Work Programme.

New appointments boost Jigsaw team
Leading training provider Jigsaw Training has added four new tutors to its ranks as it builds on its recent growth.
The company, based in Preston and operating across the UK, has appointed three new external tutors who will deliver training programmes to clients including MITIE, Rolls Royce and the Ministry of Defence. It has also enlisted an experienced internal trainer who will provide support to the company’s nationwide network of tutors.

Jigsaw Training has been shortlisted in a major national awards scheme.
The company is named in the Apprenticeship category of the awards run by Training Journal.
The winners will be announced at the Gala Dinner on Wednesday 27th November at The Brewery in the City of London.
As an approved centre with City & Guilds, Edexcel and NOCN, Jigsaw Training is required to be audited for quality and good practice on a continuous basis.
It offers security and cleaning vocational qualifications delivered as work based learning. The company delivers consultancy to blue chip companies, small to medium enterprises and individuals alike.
