Security Practitioner Qualification (SPQ) Level 2

Security Practitioner is a programme of workplace coaching and skills assessment that allows you to evaluate the skills and knowledge of your security officers without disrupting their normal working routines. Employers in the security guarding sector identified a need for a new qualification and Skills for Security and Awarding Bodies worked with them over twelve months to develop the Security Practitioner Qualification.

Security Practitioner is the ideal development path for security officers who do not already hold a full Level 2 qualification, or higher qualification, and have some practical experience, though it is equally useful for assessing the skills levels of experienced officers. Successful completion of the programme leads to the award of a full Level 2 qualification.
