Our Approach
When it comes to training, we believe that there is no guidebook with a step-by-step guide of ‘how to do it’. We believe the secret behind truly effective results is a combination of a skilled trainer with the right knowledge, attitude and behaviour to deliver the most relevant subject content for those delegates on the day.
Many training courses tell people what they should be doing without even beginning to tell them how to develop the required skills. It is for this reason that we do not tell individuals what they should do with a series of PowerPoint slides or fictitious and, often intimidating, role-plays.
We believe that learning is a process of suspending judgment, questioning behaviours, and challenging assumptions. People need to be stimulated and pushed to learn, but never to the point where their self-esteem is at risk or they feel too threatened to reveal their present limitations.
Jigsaw Training courses are designed to promote learning by allowing individuals to experience and discover the answers for themselves in a safe and non-threatening environment. Each activity is followed by a thorough review session where participants are encouraged to learn by critiquing their own performance, which is vital to the learning process.
To gain maximum impact, all activities engage everyone mentally, physically or emotionally from the start.
We provide challenge, but only where required for learning and raise issues that relate directly to their work environment.
