Community Warden NVQ Level 2

This award is designed for community wardens, neighbourhood wardens and street wardens and will allow you to demonstrate that you have the skills and knowledge to do the job. Areas covered by this City & Guilds NVQ are:

  • Supporting community needs.
  • Developing customer relationships.
  • Receiving and providing information within the community.

 

 

 

To achieve the level 2 qualification you must complete 6 mandatory and 2 optional units;

 

Mandatory units:

  • Unit 1      Contribute to maintaining safe and secure community environments.
  • Unit 2      Receive and provide information.
  • Unit 3      Support community needs.
  • Unit 4      Make sure your own actions reduce risks to health and safety.
  • Unit 5      Give customers a positive impression of yourself and your organisation.
  • Unit 6      Plan and manage own workload.

  • Unit CWD14           Minimise and deal with aggressive and abusive behaviour
  • Unit CWD15           Provide witness statements of breaches of law and regulation
  • Unit CWD17           Communicate information using mobile voice comms equipment
  • Unit HSS1              Make sure your own actions reduce risks to health and safety
  • Unit HSS7              Make sure your actions aim to protect the environment
  • Unit ICS9               Give customers a positive impression of yourself and your organisation
  • Unit SAS5              Plan and manage own workload
  • Unit SLP26             Record information relevant to your role
  • Unit 1B11              Contribute to resolving community issues
  • Unit 2C5                Contribute to providing an initial response to incidents
