Leading training provider Jigsaw Training has added four new tutors to its ranks as it builds on its recent growth.
The company, based in Preston and operating across the UK, has appointed three new external tutors who will deliver training programmes to clients including MITIE, Rolls Royce and the Ministry of Defence. It has also enlisted an experienced internal trainer who will provide support to the company’s nationwide network of tutors.
Karen Nuttall, whose role as Internal Trainer will see her ‘coaching the coaches’, is originally from Lancashire, however she spent a large part of her working career in Qatar developing a government programme designed to improve the employability of Qatari nationals.
She said: “The main focus of my role is to support the tutors and coaches which work with Jigsaw Training.
“I hope to use all of my experience from working within the training industry to help the team here continue delivering the level of quality training and education, as well as helping to develop and improve the experience of learners using Jigsaw’s e-learning provision.
“It is a very exciting opportunity for me as the company is growing and has such a positive outlook. I’m really looking forward to playing my part in its development.”
Karen will be joined at Jigsaw Training by respected tutors Angela Andrew, Paul Sarson and Graham Hambleton, who will work on training projects with a variety of Jigsaw’s national clients.
Graham, from Tottenham, will be delivering hospitality apprenticeships in areas including cooking, cleaning and food & beverage.
He has experience delivering apprenticeship programmes in military bases, banks, restaurants and hotels around the south of England, so is well placed to continue driving Jigsaw’s activity in these sectors.
Angela, from Rotherham, will work as an assessor delivering management, retail management, team leader, retail and customer service apprenticeships, while Paul, a qualified chef from Urmston with 30 years experience in catering, specialises in the delivery of food production, food and beverage service and customer service apprenticeships.
James Blackhurst, Managing Director of Jigsaw Training, said: “These appointments will help us drive Jigsaw Training forward, and enable us to better serve our customers across the UK.
“Karen’s employment as an Internal Trainer demonstrates our commitment to ensuring our external training staff are properly supported in their work, while the three external trainers are all outstanding, talented individuals who can contribute to the continuing growth of the company.”
