Glendale Liverpool Ltd are a Joint Venture Company established in October 2006 and are owned by Glendale Managed Services and Liverpool City Council. With a £7.5 million budget, employee resource of 200 and a 12-year partnership arrangement, the company has been given the responsibility to manage and maintain the City's greenspaces including Parks, Cemeteries, Golf Courses and Sports & Recreational facilities.

Over the last three years the company has recruited and developed an exceptional and committed team of 25 people that include senior and middle managers, supervisors, technical and administrative employees broken down into Operational, HR, Finance, Performance & Compliance and Business Development Units who drive and support the business.

"The challenge that I faced once the organisational structure was finalised was to ensure we worked effectively as a team across all units and for all to understand each other's pressures, needs, roles and responsibilities. I was introduced to Sue Blackhurst at Jigsaw Training where I described what the company needed to address our challenges. Sue was very enthusiastic and passionate about the challenge and was able to propose a bespoke training programme to meet our needs. The decision to employ the services of Jigsaw was based on the confidence I had in Sue and the design of the programme.
