Team Development Training By developing a strong team, there should
be four main benefits: 1) It establishes roles and responsibilities
for everyone in the team. 2) It enables members to share ideas and
support each other to achieve the common purpose of the group. 3) It allows and encourages members to
learn from their mistakes, and therefore to deliver more effective solutions
in the future. 4) It encourages members to support each
other during periods of stress, and therefore helps them to cope better
with staff changes, reorganisations, and periods of intense pressure. As an example only, we have previously
covered: How behaviour affects others
and how to effectively interact with the behaviour of others. How to use ‘colours’
to build effective working relationships. Identify problems within
the team and find ways to address each one. How to blend and co-ordinate
the skills of team members to build a cohesive and winning team. Define & allocate team
roles to encourage co-operation within the team. The consequences of groupthink. How to utilise the skills
of other teams. Challenge with respect
& how to react when challenged by others. Create a culture of team
co-operation, mutual trust & understanding. Raise morale & encourage
feelings of care & goodwill amongst the team.
