Train the Trainer Training
Transferring skills between staff is crucial. This training will develop
the skills to become an excellent workplace trainer or coach. All aspects
on workplace training can be covered, from initial identification of needs
and training design to testing understanding and evaluation. Practical guidelines
and simple templates, for use back at work will be provided.
As an example only, we have previously covered: Why organisations train
their staff & the qualities of a successful trainer. How people learn and the ‘learning cycle’. How to identify different
learning styles & alter your approach accordingly. How to use ‘building’ language’ to instil confidence. How to promote co-operation using listening skills. What to do differently
when delivering 1 to 1 training or group training. What training delivery methods are available, and when to use them. Where and when the training should take place. Training objectives and why you need them. How to build the course content and decide on the correct depth
and scope of material. How to sequence and plan the course structure to maintain interest. How to build in trainee input to maximise learning. The difference between ‘constructive feedback’ and criticism’.
